Speedway Miramichi Registration - June 20th

Please Read Before Registering!

Speedway Miramichi will tentatively open its 2020 season on Saturday June 20th, in accordance with health and safety regulations in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, provided gatherings of 50 people are permitted.

The June 20th event is scheduled to include the Mini Stock, Street Stock, and Demolition classes. However, we strongly encourage drivers from other divisions to register, and should there be sufficient interest we will consider adding that class to the days events.

Due to restrictions, only one driver and one crew member may accompany each car into the pits. The event will be contested one division at a time during a 2-3 hour timeslot. Accounting for staff, this will limit the total number of entries per division to approximatley 20. To control who has access to the facility, it is mandatory for anyone who wishes to compete to reigster for both themselves and their crew member. Anyone who is not registered and paid in advance will not be able to enter the facility.

In the event registrations exceed capacity, priority will be given to those who competed at Speedway Miramichi in 2019. In the event registrations for a division are under capacity, management will examine numbers and consider running 2 divisions during the same time slot or allowing additional crew members.

For stock car drivers, you can expect to go through technical inspection, have a practice session, and then compete in two 25-40 lap features.

For Demolition drivers, you can expect 2-4 preliminary events along with a Demolition finale.

With no fans in the stands, this gives flexibility to accomodate drivers as necessary. As such, the focus will entirely be on drivers during the day.

Due to no fans being permitted in the stands, we unfortunatley will not be able to offer prizes for winners until we can expand the gathering capacity. Our goal is entirely to give those who are willing and able a fun and leisureable opportunity to participate in the sport of racing during these unprecedented times.

While we await an idea on car counts through registrations, the format for the day is TBD, but will be scattered throughout the day from mid-morning until dusk.

When we receive your registration, a confirmation email will be sent with details on payment, which is the same price as always - $20 per person. More details and safety regulations will be communicated to those registered via email.
